February 5th 2012 - I have the new PB's to gather from Kath and these will be posted when Kath has got over the new 'Coaches' course admin! I will also archive the January news, but only in a week or so. Andrea has told me that I had a mistake in the news of the 'postal' league results. We lost the recurve match to Whitburn so it really wasn't a good month for us...... but there is always next month!
January 30th 2012 - Close to the end of the month we had a committee meeting brought forward due to a potential change in management for council sports facilities. Notwithstanding that problem, this is what was discussed. The round rota for February 14th is now a 'Portsmouth' Round. The 'Ann Thomas' clothing supplier has moved alone the road to 180 Park View (lease was up in other premises). I have entered the dates for the final team postal leagues (March and April) and they are the final ones for indoor season 2011.12. We (the club) are helping in a schools event at Benfield School on July 7th and 8th. We have a sesson of training plus competition for under 11's on Saturday (24 pupils max) and on Sunday under 13's AM and under 16's PM. (Max 30 on each session). The event is to be held outdoors so we hope for fine weather? Our next meeting is on February 27th in time for hosting the county championships. To come soon will be the latest PB's. I have also loaded the latest league results although we haven't done so well this last month. That's all for now!
January 26th 2012 - Gordon asked why I was neglecting the site, but it's just that it's January and nothing much has happened. maybe it's that post Christmas slump? However I have two things of note.
