Not the most interesting part of the web site I will admit, however if you need to make a suggestion OR ask a question that many club members cannot answer, then the Club Committee list is what may help you.

Also included is the club constitution which doesn't change mutch, but does when the situation, or the laws of G.N.A.S. require it. Then we have a list of venues which are in use by us either all year round or seasonally. This does seem an unusual place for the venues but as the committee normally negotiate for venues, I cannot think of a better place for the moment?

The Club Committee

The club is managed by the efforts of volunteer committee members who negotiate for venues, set fees to cover expenses and generally plan for the continuance of the existence of the club. Here is a list of who does what, although I admit that it cannot be totally inclusive as everyone pitches in somewhat.

The club committee for 2009-2010 is: - Club President - Edna McGowan.
Chairman. - Terry Astley.	-
Vice-chairman - Len Rathbone. (2009-10)	-
Secretary. - Mary Rathbone.	Our invaluable link to archery matters.
Treasurer. - Charlie Hall.	Manages our finances and informs the rest of the committee if we are solvent enough to do what we plan!
Records Officer. - Kath Hall.	Collates all your club records, handicaps, and results. Manages some of the external leagues for juniors and seniors that the club enters from time to time. Part manages the 'club open' competitions that the club hosts annually. e.g. The club Indoor Open, The club Outdoor Open, the August FITA Star.
Field Captain. - Len Rathbone.	Constructs, and repairs the stands in all venues. Harrasses the council to get the grass cut on the field and does numberous other wierd jobs! Oh, and blows the whistle to 'control' shooting.
Assistant Field Captain(s). - Andrea Wilson Chris Todd.	Covers for Len when he cannot act as 'Field Captain'
Junior Field Captain(s). - Luke Fittes.	Field captains for the future. This was a new development for 2007-08 for the future of the club and will assist the senior field captains.
Tournament Officer. - Kath Hall.	See above as the description of this job is covered under 'Records Officer'
Coaching Organiser. - Margaret Fittes.	Manages the list of people who wish to come onto a beginners couse. Does ALL the paperwork and finds coaches to cover the course for it's duration.
Equipment Officer. - Duties to be shared by committee members.	The Mr Fixit for the equipment damaged on courses or for equipment needed to keep them running.
Junior Representative. - Ann Todd.	Represents the interests of the club juniors on the committee
Co-opted member(s) - Eileen Hood. Margaret Mallinson. Tony George. Ron Wilson.	Do additional tasks not covered by those above. The tasks can be just about anything!
