Tuesday was the first of the indoor sessions for the coming season from 7pm until 9-30 and it was decided that the session should go on to 10pm to allow a little more lee-way for those shooting a full round. This accepts that putting up and taking down will lose us some time. Some Personal Bests were scored but I have no details of those yet as I was down in the 'echo' at the bottom of the hall when they were announced. This coming saturday we have the Club Open re-run and from October 4th (a week on Saturday) we are indoors at the second venue of Churchill School.

You should notice a little lack of news here but that's because I took a late summer holiday. Not that it was any better than any other time as it still rained. My sympathies go to Terry and Brenda who spent so much time on the field shoot only for the torrential rain to wash half the course away! Thanks should also go to those who helped set the course up and I can understand the dispair when the weather played it's part.

The club AGM was held on 16th and a quick note of the results are as follows! Fees are up by £1-00 for seniors to echo the increase from G.N.A.S. however, the fees for juniors have been slightly reduced to make them half the senior fee. I think that senior fees are £48-00 but this includes GNAS, club, county and region. Please check with Charlie but make sure that you have paid before the 1st of october as GNAS membership closes on the 30th September!. Also we're going indoors! From Tuesday 23rd we are at Percy Hedley at Forest Hall (The Wooden Spoon Sports Hall) from 7pm until 9-30pm. Please note the change of time. In previous years it was from 6-30 until 9-30! Then from October 4th we are at Churchill School from 10am until 1pm.

Committee changes were minimal. Andrew is highly involved with 'Uni'.... and 'swing' dancing so has stepped down and Ron Wilson has returned in his place as a co-opted member!
