Posted 21st November 2007:

Our latest club meeting was held last Monday and these are the results:
Margaret is to prepare a 'beginners course' calendar so each of us will know what is planned for the five weeks course.
I will be making up and loading the full list of league matches and this will go into the club calendar.

CLUB COLOURS - I was decided that as most members have 'green and whites' already then these should still be the club colours, however, as 'red, gold and green' are club colours from years ago Margaret (again) will look into how the club logo will look at it's best on 'competition' wear.

NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT!! - We will change the time we start at Churchill school from the 1st December. We will move from a 10am start to a 10-30 start as we are giving a little time to allow young footie players a time to train in the hall! (and it gives us an extra hour in bed!)

Beginner's Courses are as follows. When the current course is complete then the next will begin in January from 9th until February 6th. After that we will run a course from February 20th until March 19th. As the future of the Wallsend Sports Centre is a little vague at present, this will bring us to an organised closure to the indoor season.

And from me on this cold, wet evening I wish you all good shooting. (but not as good as me!)

Well we made it indoors OK but shot the 'frostbite' last week-end at the field. I now remember why I liked the idea of indoors! Frozen and wind blown we shot the round faster than I could ever imagine. Scores, obviously, weren't the best but we tried and that's what counts.

The results of our club open Portsmouth have been posted on the DNAA web site rather than our own here so if you need to see them just go there and look at the Competition Calendar for the link.

Our next club meeting is next Monday and we have the club colours issue to consider plus the club mark scheme and anything else that needs attention, but just ask around the club for any gossip as that's where it will all be announced.

OH! one last thing for you junior members. I could do with a nice picture of an AAS badge for the club web site. Any volunteers?
