The 'social' evening which was planned was held at the Tynemouth Cricket Club and it coincided with Vicky's 18th birthday so the night proved to be a double delight. Beside the wonderful company we had Len's Magnificent Bingo, Lee's Shove h'penny (except it was 2p pieces) and we also had three video horse races. Add the buffet, a few drinks and a nice cosy venue and I would say it was a worthy night. Plus we had birthday cake which is always well received. If you gave the evening a 'MISS' then you lost a nice night out! Whenever the next one is planned, give it a go!

On Saturday we held the club indoor championships which also included the BA and DNAA winter league matches. Terry and I apologise to Andrea who WOULD have gained a new PB if we had given a ten instead of a nine........... but we didn't! Also David Cox and Luke Fittes were presented with the club 'challenge' badges for achievements made and to Connor who, once again, gained another 'bare-bow' PB.

You should have heard by now that the club are holding a 'social' evening on Friday 18th January at 7-30pm. The venue is 'Tynemouth Cricket Club' on Preston Avenue and a buffet will be provided. Tickets will be available from Edna or Mary at a cost of £5-00 for seniors and £3-00 for juniors. Please call Mary or Edna early as numbers must be confirmed. All club members and their families are welcome and we hope to have good support.
