Please note that the Wooden Spoon sports hall will be closed on Tuesday 8th April only so it's an evening to twiddle your thumbs..... as I shall. We ARE at the Kilingworth Field from 1pm on Saturday 6th but I have heard that it may snow! Memories of Easter week-end?

Now for a review of the committee meeting held on Monday 31st March. Nothing contentious was for discussion but we do have the bills to pay for the schools we hire from, however the club is nicely solvent. I say solvent but we do have to buy new bosses and at over £100 each £1000 will go very quickly!

You may not remember but the committee have discussed if we should split the Annual Presentation evening into two distinct evenings, one for the winter season and one for the summer season. For the first time we are to arrange the 'spring' presentation evening which we hope will be held at Tynemouth Cricket Club on May 1st. We may need to charge a modest £2-50 for seniors and £1-50 for juniors but the club is matching this payment out of club funds to fully cover the buffet. That amounts to another £2-50 per person from funds. Please go along as this is a very cosy venue and provides the chance to meet and talk without missing out on your archery.

For those whoo may have entered but haven't heard, the 'Easter Egg' shoot which was planned for the Easter Monday has been re-scheduled for April 27th 2008.

We need to arrange a 'work party' to prepare the field for the outdoor season but not until the ground starts to dry our. It's a tad muddy just now!

And to close. The NCAS coaching conference is to be held on May 10 which just happens to co-incide with the club champs. So the club champs has been changed to May 17th instead as some of our club coaches will be attending the conference.
